Melting Presentation at 10:15 p.m. at the Icehouse Complex
Participating galleries, restaurants and art spaces will showcase art,

Downtown Akron Artwalk!

Guests won't want to miss Fragile at the Icehouse Complex, 129 N. Summit St., from 6-11 p.m. This one evening show features works by award winning ice sculptors Aaron and Sarah Costic. Fragile explores the precarious balance of limited resources, time, money and energy. The installation, made of ice and porcelain, will melt during the course of the evening, encouraging multiple visits to see it change. View the lighting of the Fire & Ice Tower at 10:15 p.m.!The Artwalk trolleys will run until 11 p.m. to accommodate guests who would like to end their evening at the Icehouse and view this spectacular event featuring Olympic medal winning ice sculptor Aaron Costic.

The Artwalk, created by the independent artists and galleries that participate, features one of a kind art and collectibles available for purchase as well as art openings, gallery shows, demonstrations and interactive art. The term "walk" is used loosely as "artwalkers" can enjoy riding from destination to destination on a trolley provided by the City of Akron. With so much to see and do, it's no surprise that the monthly Artwalk is becoming one of the hottest nights out in Akron!
